French Roast

French Roast is my favorite coffee from Blackwelder. I don't drink any other coffee. Nice, dark, not too strong. I don't put anything in it; it's perfect on its own. A real treat to wake up to every day.

Given my experience with excellent prior Blackwelder Coffee,I am not surprised by the depth and intensity of flavor in Blackwelder’s French Roast. This bold roast will tantalize your taste buds in the morning.

I'm a long time subscriber of Blackwelder's French Road and I've been more than satisfied over the years. I can wholeheartedly recommend thier coffees and service is exceptional.
Just a little gripe, past few batches are not up to scratch, beans not to the same standard as you've produced over the years. I imagine this maybe due to a global shortage of coffee. Still looking forwards to enjoying the same standard as before in coming months and years.

I've been drinking coffee for 50 years now. In San Francisco there was a great small business on Haight Street where I bought my coffee and it was delicious. When I moved to a town in the San Joaquin Valley I had to get my coffee at the grocery store. That continued when I moved to Los Angeles. The coffee was flat, dull, boring and I was stuck with that coffee because I had to buy a pound bag. By chance I sampled Blackwelder French Roast and that was it. I bought it for years. Now I live in New Mexico and the first thing I did was buy a subscription so that I'm never without. I take my Blackwelder French Roast black and make it strong. It's the best.
